Skin overview

This Nomad Knife finish relies on soft spray-painted blotches, and in Well-Worn that softness turns into a patchy, scuffed surface. Exposed steel spreads from the edges toward the middle of the blade and across the raised parts of the frame. The result looks rough and used, which suits the grey palette.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The blade is covered in soft, overlapping blotches of charcoal, mid grey and pale beige, sprayed so that the transitions stay blurred. The ground edge bevel stays a lighter silver and contrasts with the smoky flat of the blade.

Bare metal spreads from the edge and spine into the blade, breaking up the pattern. The frame shows clear scuffing on its raised parts and screws. In game the knife looks patchy, though the dark blotches remain recognisable in the middle of the blade.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Nomad Knife | Scorched ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep noticeably more paint.
  • Look at the placement of the dark blotches on the blade, as the pattern seed changes how the smoky patches fall.
  • Inspect the tip, edge and spine first, because these areas lose paint before the rest of the knife.
  • Check for a name tag and a StatTrak™ counter if either matters to you.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like a rough, used look on a grey knife.
  • Buyers looking for a lower entry into this finish.
  • A fit for those who prefer character over a clean surface.
