★ Paracord Knife | Stained puts a forced patina on the blade of a fixed-blade survival knife: cloudy pale blue and grey stains with darker veins running across the steel. In Factory New the mottled pattern sits on an unbroken surface, so every vein and colour shift between the stains is crisp. The grey paracord wrap on the handle keeps the whole knife in muted, cold tones.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
Appearance in Factory New
The whole blade is covered with a mottled patina in pale blue, grey and white tones, crossed by thin darker blue veins that give it a marbled, stained look. The spine area, including the long slot and the notched section near the guard, has a darker grey steel tone.
The patina covers the blade without interruption, from the tip to the guard. The darker veins and the soft transitions between the stains are fully readable. The spine, the slot and the notches keep an even steel tone. In game the knife looks exactly as on the inspect image.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Paracord Knife | Stained is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep noticeably more patina on the edge and tip.
- The arrangement of stains differs between copies, so check the inspect image to see how the pattern sits on the visible side of the blade.
- On worn grades check the tip and spine, as these lose the patina first and set the overall impression.
- Check whether the knife carries a name tag and whether it is the StatTrak™ version.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the marbled patina complete and crisp.
- Players who inspect often and want every vein visible.
- The pick for anyone who wants this finish exactly as designed.
