★ Paracord Knife | Stained in Field-Tested shows its blue-grey stains alongside visible scratches on the blade. Since the patina already imitates aged metal, the wear blends into the look rather than fighting it. The paracord handle and the cold colour scheme stay the same as on cleaner copies.
Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.
Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The whole blade is covered with a mottled patina in pale blue, grey and white tones, crossed by thin darker blue veins that give it a marbled, stained look. The spine area, including the long slot and the notched section near the guard, has a darker grey steel tone.
Scratches become visible on the cutting edge, the tip and along the spine. The patina on the flat of the blade is still mostly present, but lighter worn streaks begin to cross it. In game the wear reads as part of the aged look rather than as damage. The handle wrap stays largely unchanged.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of ★ StatTrak™ Paracord Knife | Stained is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy
- Look at the float position within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep noticeably more patina on the edge and tip.
- The arrangement of stains differs between copies, so check the inspect image to see how the pattern sits on the visible side of the blade.
- On worn grades check the tip and spine, as these lose the patina first and set the overall impression.
- Check whether the knife carries a name tag and whether it is the StatTrak™ version.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who like that the scratches fit the aged patina theme.
- Buyers looking for a mid-range knife that still shows the stains clearly.
- A practical everyday choice for this finish.
