★ StatTrak™ Stiletto Knife | Scorched (Factory New)

Skin overview

★ Stiletto Knife | Scorched is a long Italian-style switchblade covered in dark spray-paint blotches of charcoal, black and smoky grey. In Factory New the soot-like pattern sits unbroken from the tip of the blade to the pommel, with soft transitions between the tones. This is the cleanest and most uniform look the finish can have.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The narrow blade is coated in mottled spray-paint of black, charcoal and smoky grey, with lighter streaks running along its length. The bolster and the small guard quillons carry the same dark tones, so the front of the knife reads as one piece.

Factory New covers only a narrow slice at the very bottom of this skin's float range. The paint is intact on the blade, fittings and handle, and the edge and tip still carry the dark coat. At normal distance the knife reads as a uniform smoky shape with soft tonal shifts. Everything looks clean.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within its grade, since lower values keep more paint on the edge and tip.
• Inspect the blade edge, tip, quillons and pommel first, as these parts lose paint before the rest.
• Compare a few copies, because the random placement of light and dark blotches changes how the handle looks.
• Look for a name tag and decide whether it fits your taste, since stickers cannot be applied to knives.

Who should buy Factory New

• Collectors who want the dark pattern fully intact.
• Players who value a perfectly even finish on inspect.
• Conclusion: the choice for those who want this knife without compromise.
