Skin overview

★ Stiletto Knife | Scorched in Battle-Scarred shows heavy paint loss, with grey steel taking over large areas of the blade and fittings. The remaining dark spots look like burn marks on a well-used tool. It is the most accessible way to own this knife model with this finish.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The narrow blade is coated in mottled spray-paint of black, charcoal and smoky grey, with lighter streaks running along its length. The bolster and the small guard quillons carry the same dark tones, so the front of the knife reads as one piece.

Battle-Scarred leaves much of the blade as bare steel with scattered dark remnants. The bolster, quillons and pommel are worn heavily, and the handle shows broad scratched areas. In game the knife reads as grey metal with burnt-looking spots, which still suits the theme. Fragments of the smoky pattern survive mainly on the handle.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8

The float of ★ StatTrak™ Stiletto Knife | Scorched ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within its grade, since lower values keep more paint on the edge and tip.
  • Inspect the blade edge, tip, quillons and pommel first, as these parts lose paint before the rest.
  • Compare a few copies, because the random placement of light and dark blotches changes how the handle looks.
  • Look for a name tag and decide whether it fits your taste, since stickers cannot be applied to knives.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players looking for the most accessible entry into this knife.
  • Those who like heavy wear and bare metal on a knife.
  • Conclusion: an entry-level option where the knife matters more than the paint.
