Skin overview

This is a dark spray-paint camouflage on the Survival Knife, built from muted night ops colours and taped stripes. In Well-Worn the steel shows through on most edges and raised areas, so the knife reads as a two-tone mix of grey paint and bright metal. It is the grade for those who like a heavily used field knife look.

Item type: knife. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The blade is painted in a dark slate blue-grey, with slightly darker and lighter stripes from the tape mask running across it and faint warmer tints near the gut hook. The serrated section stays bright, so the silver teeth stand out against the matte paint.

Paint loss spreads from the edges into the flat of the blade, breaking up the stripes. The handle ridges, bolts and pommel show noticeable metal. Grey remains in larger patches in the middle of the blade and in the handle recesses. In game the knife reads as patchy grey and steel.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of ★ Survival Knife | Night Stripe is 0.06–0.8; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position inside the grade, since paint loss on the edges and gut hook grows noticeably within one wear.
  • Look at the tip, spine and serrations in the inspect view, as these show wear first.
  • Compare the handle ridges and bolts on worn copies, because some keep far more paint there than others.
  • Decide whether you need StatTrak™, as both versions exist and look the same.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Fans of a heavily used field knife appearance.
  • Buyers who want this knife for less and accept visible metal.
  • Conclusion: a budget option with a distinct rugged look.
