Show allAllSkin overview
This is a plain two-tone AUG: navy anodized furniture with dark metal parts on top, with no pattern or artwork. Because the skin's float range is very short, Minimal Wear copies sit right at its upper edge and differ from Factory New only in tiny marks that are hard to see in a match. It is a way to get the same glossy blue look at the less pristine grade.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Anodized: the colour is in the metal coating itself, so wear shows mostly as dulling rather than a rubbed-off pattern.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The navy anodized coat covers the stock, the receiver housing, the trigger guard and the area around the pistol grip, with a chrome base showing through as a cool metallic shine. The upper rail, scope mount, barrel, muzzle device and vertical foregrip are kept in dark gunmetal grey, giving a clear split between the blue lower body and the dark upper parts.
In Minimal Wear the coat is still almost complete, with only faint light specks possible on the sharpest edges of the stock and the rim of the trigger guard. The large flat surfaces of the stock and receiver housing keep their full colour and gloss. At normal in-game distance the rifle looks practically the same as a Factory New copy. The dark upper parts and the magazine show no noticeable change.
Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.08
The whole float range of AUG | Anodized Navy is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
AUG | Anodized Navy belongs to The Alpha Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 15 skins of the AUG in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Silver, white and holographic stickers echo the chrome base and suit the navy body well. Gold or red accents give a strong contrast on the side of the stock, while dark stickers tend to blend into the gunmetal upper parts.
What to check before buying
- Compare the float of the copy with others in the same wear, since the skin's whole range is narrow and differences are small.
- Inspect the edges of the stock and the trigger guard rim, where the first light marks would appear.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether they fit the clean blue look you want.
- Check any applied stickers and name tag, as they stand out strongly on a plain finish.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want the same look in game without paying for a perfect grade.
- Budget buyers looking for a tidy CT rifle skin.
- Owners who do not inspect the weapon closely and care about the overall colour.
- Minimal Wear gives nearly the Factory New look at the less pristine grade.
