Skin overview

AUG | Commando Company is a Consumer Grade AUG with a green flecktarn camo applied by hydrographic print. The body is covered in light green with darker green, reddish-brown and black spots, while the barrel, rail and scope stay black. In Factory New the dots stay crisp and the colours read as an even, fresh print.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The hydrographic flecktarn covers the main polymer body, the stock, the pistol grip area and the vertical foregrip: a light green base with darker green blotches, small reddish-brown dots and black specks. The barrel, the top rail, the scope and the receiver hardware stay black and unpainted. The magazine keeps its standard translucent brown look with the ribbed pattern. On worn copies the paint goes first from the edges of the stock, the foregrip and the front of the body, then from raised and flat areas of the body. Because the pattern is so busy, small scratches stay hard to spot until wear becomes heavy.

The camo print is complete on the body, stock and foregrip. All dots and blotches keep sharp edges and full colour. In game the rifle looks clean and evenly green. Black parts and the magazine look the same in every wear.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of AUG | Commando Company is 0–0.65; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
