Show allAllSkin overview
Commando Company is a plain hydrographic flecktarn on the AUG, with a bright green base and scattered dark and brown dots. In Field-Tested the edges start to lose paint, but the spotty pattern hides much of the scuffing. From a normal distance the rifle still reads as a green camo AUG.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The hydrographic flecktarn covers the main polymer body, the stock, the pistol grip area and the vertical foregrip: a light green base with darker green blotches, small reddish-brown dots and black specks. The barrel, the top rail, the scope and the receiver hardware stay black and unpainted.
Paint loss becomes visible on the edges of the stock, the foregrip and the front of the body. Some lighter scratches spread onto flat areas. In game the camo still reads clearly, with wear noticeable mostly up close. The middle of the body keeps most of its colour.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of AUG | Commando Company is 0–0.65; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (35% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Among 9 skins of the AUG in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Green, olive, brown and black stickers match the flecktarn and keep a military look. Placing them on the body ahead of the magazine keeps them visible against the camo. Bright contrasting stickers work if you want them to stand out from the busy pattern.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear grade, since edge wear on the stock and foregrip grows noticeably toward the dirty end.
- The pattern placement changes only slightly between copies and rarely affects value.
- Souvenir copies exist, so check whether the copy you want is Souvenir or regular.
- Look at applied stickers and a name tag, as they change the look of the plain camo.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want a readable green camo at a budget entry level.
- Those who do not mind light edge wear hidden by the pattern.
- Conclusion: the most practical grade for everyday play.
