Commando Company puts a green flecktarn print on the AUG polymer body, foregrip and stock. In Battle-Scarred the print is heavily scuffed on the edges and grips, and the camo looks patchy and worn. For a military-style finish this rough state fits the theme well.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The hydrographic flecktarn covers the main polymer body, the stock, the pistol grip area and the vertical foregrip: a light green base with darker green blotches, small reddish-brown dots and black specks. The barrel, the top rail, the scope and the receiver hardware stay black and unpainted.
The print is heavily scuffed on the stock, foregrip and body edges, with patchy gaps in the camo. Scratches reach most painted surfaces. Since the float range stops before the heaviest wear, the camo does not disappear entirely. In game it reads as a rough, field-worn rifle.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.65
The whole float range of AUG | Commando Company is 0–0.65; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.65 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
AUG | Commando Company belongs to The Boreal Collection, which holds 29 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Compared with the Battle-Scarred quality, the others go like this:
- Factory New — 2× dearer
- Minimal Wear — 2× dearer
- Field-Tested — 2× dearer
- Well-Worn — 2× dearer
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 9 skins of the AUG in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 8th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Green, olive, brown and black stickers match the flecktarn and keep a military look. Placing them on the body ahead of the magazine keeps them visible against the camo. Bright contrasting stickers work if you want them to stand out from the busy pattern.
What to check before buying
- Check the float position within the wear grade, since edge wear on the stock and foregrip grows noticeably toward the dirty end.
- The pattern placement changes only slightly between copies and rarely affects value.
- Souvenir copies exist, so check whether the copy you want is Souvenir or regular.
- Look at applied stickers and a name tag, as they change the look of the plain camo.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players who want a rough, heavily used camo rifle.
- Fans of worn finishes who enjoy patchy paint loss.
- Conclusion: for those who value character over cleanliness.
