FAMAS | Crypsis is a Mil-Spec Grade rifle finish with a spray-painted autumn camouflage of rust-orange leaf shapes and pale twig lines over a dark brown base. In Factory New the contrast between the orange, cream and brown is at its sharpest, and the carry handle and magazine show the pattern edge to edge. The Steam description invites a second look, and the clean copy is the easiest one on which to study the busy pattern up close.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The receiver, carry handle, stock, pistol grip and magazine are covered in a dark brown base with scattered rust-orange leaf shapes and thin cream-coloured twig lines. The barrel and muzzle stay in plain dark metal, which frames the patterned body. The pattern is spray-painted and randomised, so the placement of leaves and branches differs between copies, with no single layout dominating. On worn copies the paint goes first from the top edge of the carry handle, the magazine edges, the grip and the butt of the stock, then spreads to the flat sides of the receiver.
The paint is intact on every part, including the carry handle and magazine edges. Orange leaves and cream twigs have crisp outlines against the dark brown base. At normal distance in game the rifle reads as a warm, busy autumn camo. Nothing on the weapon shows bare metal apart from the unpainted barrel.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of FAMAS | Crypsis is 0–0.55; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (13% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

Which stickers suit it
Warm golds, oranges, browns and cream tones blend with the autumn palette for a cohesive craft. Matte or paper stickers along the receiver side keep the camo theme, while a single gold or holo accent stands out well against the dark brown base.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, as copies near the top of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the carry handle and magazine.
- Look at the carry handle edge, magazine corners and grip, since these lose paint first.
- Compare inspect screenshots, because the random spray pattern places leaves and twigs differently on each copy.
- Check for applied stickers and a name tag, and whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir.
Who the Factory New quality suits
