Skin overview

G3SG1 | Demeter is easy to spot by its tiled blue pattern with black outlines and orange accents running along the front half of the rifle. Field-Tested copies keep the mosaic readable, while the edges of the handguard and the scope tube start to show grey scuffs. The finish takes on a lived-in look that suits the busy pattern well.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The handguard and receiver are covered in a mosaic of teal and deep blue tiles separated by thick black lines, with irregular orange pieces scattered mostly along the front half. The scope tube carries the same blue-and-black tiling, while the scope mount and bolt area stay dark.

Scuffs spread along the handguard edges, the top of the receiver and both ends of the scope tube, showing grey metal through the tiles. The orange starts to look slightly duller in the worn spots. At normal distance the mosaic still reads clearly. The central sides of the receiver and handguard keep most of their pattern.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of G3SG1 | Demeter is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

G3SG1 | Demeter belongs to The Bravo Collection, which holds 15 skins.

The source is Operation Bravo Case (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

What it costs in each quality

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in blue, teal or orange tones blend with the mosaic, while black or holo stickers echo the dark seams. Placing them on the receiver side keeps the pattern on the handguard and scope visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Compare float within the chosen wear, since lower values keep the scope tube and handguard edges cleaner.
  • Look at the ends of the scope tube and the front of the handguard, as these show wear first.
  • Check how much orange falls on the visible side, because the pattern placement varies between copies.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they suit the blue and orange palette.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who use the G3SG1 and want a recognisable skin without paying for cleanliness.
  • Buyers who like a slightly used look on a busy pattern.
  • In short, a practical everyday grade.
