Skin overview

Green Cell turns the G3SG1 into a rifle wrapped in muted green honeycomb with a plain olive stock. In Field-Tested the spray paint starts to show its age: edges and raised parts lose colour, but the hex motif stays readable on the large flat surfaces. It suits players who want the camouflage look without paying for a pristine finish.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The handguard, receiver and pistol grip are covered in a hex pattern of olive and sage green cells outlined in lighter green with darker gaps between them. The scope tube carries the same cell pattern, while the stock is finished in a mostly plain light olive tone.

Paint loss becomes visible along the handguard edges, the top of the receiver and the scope rims, with small dark spots of metal. The stock corners and the grip start to show scuffs. In game the hex pattern is still clearly readable, but the edges look used. The large flat areas of the handguard and the sides of the stock keep most of their colour.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of G3SG1 | Green Cell is 0–0.65; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (35% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 8 skins of the G3SG1 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 7th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Olive, khaki, black and muted gold stickers blend with the hex camouflage for a tactical look. Placing them on the plain olive stock or the receiver side keeps the cell pattern on the handguard visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the clean end of a grade keep the scope rims and handguard edges intact longer.
  • Look at the handguard edges, scope and stock corners on the inspect screen, as these show paint loss first.
  • On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and whether they suit the green palette.
  • Check for a name tag if you prefer the default item name.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

  • Players who want the green camouflage look on a budget.
  • Those who like a slightly used, field-worn finish on a tactical skin.
  • A balanced choice: the pattern stays readable while the cost goes down.
