Skin overview

This G3SG1 carries a green and black hex camouflage sprayed over the furniture, the scope and the receiver, while the barrel and magazine stay bare metal. In Minimal Wear the cells still read as a clean, even pattern, and any marks are small and sit on edges. It looks practically the same as the top grade from a normal viewing distance.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The handguard, receiver and pistol grip are covered in a hex pattern of olive and sage green cells outlined in lighter green with darker gaps between them. The scope tube carries the same cell pattern, while the stock is finished in a mostly plain light olive tone.

Light scratches may appear on the front edge of the handguard and on the scope rims. The cells on the receiver and the flat sides of the handguard remain complete. At normal distance in game the difference from Factory New is hard to spot. The stock and grip still look clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of G3SG1 | Green Cell is 0–0.65; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

• Look at the handguard edges, scope and stock corners on the inspect screen, as these show paint loss first.

• Check for a name tag if you prefer the default item name.
