Show allAllSkin overview
This G3SG1 trades bright colours for a restrained mix of black metal and mahogany-toned wood. At Minimal Wear the difference from a fresh copy comes down to a few faint marks on the panel edges, which are hard to spot during a round. It gives nearly the same clean wooden look while usually being the more sensible choice for a buyer who does not need a pristine copy.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Appearance in Minimal Wear
The receiver, barrel, scope and pistol grip are finished in plain black, close to the stock look of the rifle. The handguard carries wood panels in a reddish-brown mahogany tone, split by a darker diagonal band, and the same wood covers the magazine and the stock.
Small, faint scratches may appear on the edges of the handguard panels and the bottom of the magazine. The black metal remains almost untouched. At normal viewing distance it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The stock, grip and scope still look clean.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

Stickers and crafts
Stickers in brown, gold, cream or black tones blend with the wood and metal without breaking the traditional look. Placements on the black receiver stand out more clearly than those on the wood panels, so a single muted sticker there often works better than several bright ones.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the condition of the wood panels changes noticeably across the range.
- Inspect the handguard panel edges and the bottom of the magazine, as these lose finish first.
- Look at the receiver and scope mount edges for lighter metal showing through the black.
- Note any stickers or name tag, and decide whether they suit the wooden look.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a clean-looking rifle and do not need a perfect copy.
- Sticker crafters for whom faint edge marks do not matter.
- A practical alternative to Factory New with almost the same look.
