Show allAllSkin overview
Akoben is easy to recognise by its tight, curving brown stripes over white, a pattern that looks closer to an animal hide than to camouflage. In Field-Tested the paint starts chipping at edges and rails, and dark metal shows through in places. The overall striped look survives, but the white is less crisp than on cleaner copies.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The finish is a white base covered with dense, wavy rust-brown stripes that run across the handguard, receiver, pistol grip, magazine and skeleton stock. The stripes curve and bend around each part, so no two sections repeat the same shape.
Chips are visible on the magazine, rails, sight and stock corners, with dark metal showing through. The white base starts to look slightly dulled. In game the stripes still read as a clear pattern, and the wear is noticeable mostly up close. The flat sides of the receiver and handguard are still largely intact.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Galil AR | Akoben is 0–0.75; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Which stickers suit it
Stickers in brown, orange, cream or gold tones blend with the rust-and-white stripes. Dark or black stickers on the receiver side stand out cleanly against the busy pattern, while very bright multicolour designs tend to clash with it.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the lower end keep noticeably cleaner edges.
- Look at the magazine, top rails and front sight first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
- Inspect the white base on the receiver sides, because dulling there changes the contrast of the whole skin.
- Check for applied stickers and a name tag, which can change how the striped pattern reads.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the striped design for everyday use on the T side.
- Buyers who do not mind visible chips on edges and rails.
- A practical middle option for regular play.
