Show allAllSkin overview
Field-Tested is where Sleet starts to look used: the grayscale patches stay readable, but dark metal shows through along edges and corners. The pattern was never bright, so the scuffs blend into it rather than ruin it. The overall look reads as a winter camouflage that has seen some service.
Item type: machinegun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver, top cover and long barrel are covered in an angular grayscale camouflage of white, pale grey and charcoal patches that resembles frost or sleet. The box magazine carries the same pattern on its large flat sides, which makes it the most visible part of the skin.
Chips become visible along the barrel, the muzzle, the top of the receiver and the corners of the magazine. Dark metal shows through in thin lines and small patches. The large sides of the magazine still carry most of the pattern, so the skin is easy to recognise in game. Because the camouflage is grey, the damage reads as part of a used look rather than as a stain.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of M249 | Sleet is 0–0.7; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (33% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
M249 | Sleet belongs to The Achroma Collection, which holds 20 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
White, silver, black and holo stickers blend with the grayscale camouflage for a calm winter-themed craft. A single bright accent, such as red or ice blue, stands out well against the neutral paint on the receiver. The flat sides of the box magazine are the most visible spot for placement.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within its wear grade, since chipping on the magazine corners grows noticeably towards the dirtier end.
- Look at the sides of the box magazine first, because they are the largest painted surface and show the condition best.
- The pattern is a uniform camouflage, so the pattern seed matters little and does not need a premium.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit you before buying.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like a camouflage that looks used but still clearly patterned.
- Budget buyers looking for a recognisable skin for an occasional machine gun pick.
- Conclusion: a balanced choice where the wear suits the grey pattern.
