Skin overview

MAC-10 | Malachite is an SMG with a bright teal metallic receiver crossed by wavy, comb-drawn stripes. In Factory New the anodized colour is even and glossy, and every wave of the pattern reads sharply against the darker teal base. This is the grade for buyers who want the finish exactly as designed, with no marks on the edges.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver is fully coated in a metallic teal anodized paint, with lighter diagonal waves dragged across it in a comb pattern that runs over the top and sides. The barrel tip stays black, while the grip, magazine, trigger guard and folding wire stock remain in plain grey metal, which makes the teal body stand out. A tan fabric sling hangs from the front of the gun and adds a muted contrast. On worn copies the paint goes first on the front and top edges of the receiver, the raised details on its sides and the corners near the stock, revealing grey metal underneath.

The teal coat is uniform with no visible marks on any edge. The comb waves are crisp and keep their full contrast against the base colour. In game the receiver reads as a clean, glossy block of colour. The grey grip and magazine look equally fresh.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of MAC-10 | Malachite is 0–0.5; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (14% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
