Skin overview

MAC-10 | Snow Splash pairs an off-white base with jagged grey and black slashes in a plain winter camo style. Battle-Scarred is the most worn grade this skin can have, with bare metal showing along the edges and on the magazine, yet the light base still covers a good part of the receiver. It is the most weathered take on the pattern and keeps the pale camo idea readable.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is covered in a cream-white coat with thin dark grey lines and angular splashes running along its flat sides. The magazine continues the pattern with larger jagged black and grey marks, while the barrel shroud and muzzle stay dark.

Bare metal runs along all edges, the muzzle area and much of the magazine, and scratches cover the flat sides of the receiver. Because the float range of this skin stops early, the damage is limited compared with skins that wear further. In game the gun reads as a grey, weathered MAC-10 with patches of white still showing. The central parts of the receiver keep visible areas of the original pattern.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.6

The whole float range of MAC-10 | Snow Splash is 0–0.6; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.6 segment (25% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

MAC-10 | Snow Splash belongs to The Achroma Collection, which holds 20 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white, grey and silver stickers match the grayscale pattern and keep the winter camo look intact. A single colour accent such as red or ice blue on the receiver side can work well against the pale base. Placements on the flat side of the receiver are the most visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since chipping on the receiver edges and magazine grows steadily toward the dirtier end.
  • Look at the bottom of the magazine and the muzzle area first, as these spots lose paint earliest.
  • Souvenir copies exist, so check whether the offer already has stickers applied and whether they suit you.
  • Review any stickers and name tag, because they stand out strongly against the light base.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Fans of heavily weathered skins who still want the light camo to read.
  • The lowest-cost way to put this pattern on a MAC-10.
  • Conclusion: a rugged, budget pick for play.
