Skin overview

This MP9 finish relies on simple yellow and red paint set into grooves on a grey body. In Battle-Scarred the paint is patchy and the grey surface is heavily scratched and darkened. What remains is a rough, weathered version of the striped design.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The base of the MP9 is a dark grey, slightly metallic finish that covers the receiver, barrel shroud, grip, magazine and folding stock. The front of the receiver carries a block of diagonal yellow grooves, and similar horizontal yellow bands wrap the vertical foregrip, the pistol grip and the magazine.

The yellow and red paint survives only in patches across the receiver, grip and magazine. The grey base is heavily scratched and darkened, especially on the edges and the magazine. In game the stripes read as fragmented marks rather than clean lines. Only the deeper grooves and protected areas keep some solid colour.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.9

The whole float range of MP9 | Bee-Tron is 0–0.9; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.9 segment (50% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Harlequin Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Yellow, black and gold stickers match the bee theme and the striped receiver. Red accents echo the thin red lines on the grip and magazine. Dark grey or holo stickers can sit on the plain rear part of the receiver without fighting the stripes.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, as it decides how complete the yellow stripes look.
  • Look at the muzzle, the front of the grip and the magazine base, since the paint goes there first.
  • The pattern does not change the design in a meaningful way, so condition matters more than the seed.
  • Check any applied stickers and name tag, as they change how the striped receiver reads.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players looking for the cheapest entry into this skin.
  • Those who like a rough, weathered finish.
  • Conclusion: a budget pick for a gritty look.
