Show allAllSkin overview
The finish is built on contrast: yellow grooves over a grey polymer body, arranged in bands that recall a bee. In Field-Tested the yellow begins to break up on the edges, while the overall striped pattern stays easy to recognise. This grade keeps the character of the skin with visible signs of use.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The base of the MP9 is a dark grey, slightly metallic finish that covers the receiver, barrel shroud, grip, magazine and folding stock. The front of the receiver carries a block of diagonal yellow grooves, and similar horizontal yellow bands wrap the vertical foregrip, the pistol grip and the magazine.
The yellow starts to chip on the receiver edges, the front of the pistol grip and the bottom of the magazine. The grey base shows light scuffs on the raised parts and the muzzle. In game the striped pattern is fully readable, while the paint looks slightly less even up close. The stock line and the centre of the receiver block still look fairly clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of MP9 | Bee-Tron is 0–0.9; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (26% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
MP9 | Bee-Tron belongs to The Harlequin Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this:
- Factory New — 4.5× dearer
- Minimal Wear — about the same
- Well-Worn — about the same
- Battle-Scarred — 2× cheaper
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 11 skins of the MP9 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 5th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Yellow, black and gold stickers match the bee theme and the striped receiver. Red accents echo the thin red lines on the grip and magazine. Dark grey or holo stickers can sit on the plain rear part of the receiver without fighting the stripes.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, as it decides how complete the yellow stripes look.
- Look at the muzzle, the front of the grip and the magazine base, since the paint goes there first.
- The pattern does not change the design in a meaningful way, so condition matters more than the seed.
- Check any applied stickers and name tag, as they change how the striped receiver reads.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the full striped design at a lower entry point.
- Those who do not mind light chipping on the edges.
- Conclusion: a practical everyday choice.
