MP9 | Bee-Tron (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

Bee-Tron pairs a plain grey MP9 with dense yellow striping on the receiver, grip and magazine. At Minimal Wear the stripes still look complete from any normal distance. It is a way to get a practically clean look without chasing the top grade.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The base of the MP9 is a dark grey, slightly metallic finish that covers the receiver, barrel shroud, grip, magazine and folding stock. The front of the receiver carries a block of diagonal yellow grooves, and similar horizontal yellow bands wrap the vertical foregrip, the pistol grip and the magazine.

Small specks may appear on the muzzle and on the sharpest receiver edges. The stripes on the grip and magazine remain intact. At normal distance the difference from Factory New is hard to notice, and the yellow still looks bright.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of MP9 | Bee-Tron is 0–0.9; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (9% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

MP9 | Bee-Tron belongs to The Harlequin Collection, which holds 19 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Which stickers suit it

Yellow, black and gold stickers match the bee theme and the striped receiver. Red accents echo the thin red lines on the grip and magazine. Dark grey or holo stickers can sit on the plain rear part of the receiver without fighting the stripes.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, as it decides how complete the yellow stripes look.
• Look at the muzzle, the front of the grip and the magazine base, since the paint goes there first.
• The pattern does not change the design in a meaningful way, so condition matters more than the seed.
