Skin overview

This Sawed-Off carries a pale desert camouflage of beige paint and greyish-green spray marks, with warm reddish tints near the edges. At Minimal Wear the difference from a factory copy is hard to spot in game, as the light palette hides small marks well. The look stays calm and uniform, closer to field gear than to a showpiece.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The base of the finish is a light sandy beige, covered with soft, blurred sage-green and grey patches that run across the barrel shroud, receiver and stock. The ribbed pump fore-end and the muzzle carry warmer reddish-brown streaks, and the butt of the stock has a similar rusty tint.

Wear is limited to small specks on the muzzle and the sharpest edges of the fore-end ribs. The receiver, barrel shroud and stock look the same as on a Factory New copy. At normal playing distance the difference is practically invisible. The sage patches keep their full softness and colour.

Muted stickers in sand, olive, brown or off-white blend into the desert palette. Placements on the receiver side work best, as the beige there gives a calm background. A single dark or rusty-red sticker can echo the warm streaks on the fore-end.

• Look at the muzzle and the fore-end ribs, as they show wear first on this finish.
• Do not pay extra for pattern, since the random spray marks make copies look nearly identical.
• Check whether the copy is a Souvenir, as that version carries tournament stickers applied at drop.
• Compare floats within the grade, because a low float in Field-Tested looks close to Minimal Wear.
