Souvenir AK-47 | Elite Build (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Elite Build relies on a dark base, so in Field-Tested the overall silhouette still reads as solid black with copper details. Scuffs start to show on the orange trim and on the raised parts of the receiver, giving the rifle a used, field-carried feel. For many players this is the point where the look stays intact and the cost drops noticeably.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is finished in dark gunmetal with a smoky grey hydrographic texture, carrying small orange stencilled emblems on the dust cover and side. The handguard, pistol grip and stock are matte black, with thin orange lines running along the edges of the stock and handguard.

The orange trim shows visible breaks on the magazine edge and the bottom of the stock. The receiver corners and dust cover pick up lighter scuffs, and the decals start to fade slightly. The black furniture still looks largely solid. In game the scheme reads as intact, with wear noticeable only on close inspection.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Elite Build is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The source is Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in orange, copper, gold or black match the finish and continue its trim lines. Placing them on the receiver side near the existing emblems keeps the composition tidy, while bright multicolour stickers tend to break the restrained look.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since the orange trim changes noticeably between the low and high end of a grade.
• Inspect the orange edges of the magazine and stock, as they lose paint first.
• Check the stencilled emblems on the receiver and the text on the magazine for fading.
• Review applied stickers and name tags, because they change how the dark finish reads.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the full dark look for everyday matches.
• Buyers who do not mind light scuffs on the trim.
• Conclusion: the practical middle option for regular play.
