Souvenir AK-47 | X-Ray (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Orange glow, red internal silhouettes and a see-through magazine make AK-47 | X-Ray easy to recognise even when it is not pristine. In Field-Tested the colours stay warm and saturated, while scuffs start to break the clean edges of the handguard, magazine and receiver. The X-ray idea still reads clearly in game, with some honest wear on the outline.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The whole rifle is covered in a translucent orange and amber layer that imitates an X-ray image, with the internal parts drawn in darker red and maroon tones. On the receiver you can see the outlines of the mechanism inside, and the curved magazine shows a stack of cartridges as if through its walls.

Wear becomes visible along the edges of the handguard, the bottom of the magazine and the top of the receiver. Some internal lines near those edges lose sharpness. The stock and the central part of the receiver still look solid, and in game the X-ray effect is clearly there.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | X-Ray is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Havoc Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in orange, gold, red or black blend well with the amber body and keep the warm palette intact. Placing them along the receiver or the handguard works best, as the magazine carries the most recognisable part of the X-ray artwork. Holographic or gold stickers echo the glow of the finish.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float keeps the internal outlines noticeably cleaner.
• Look closely at the magazine and handguard edges, which lose paint first and carry most of the X-ray detail.
• Inspect the receiver top for scuffs that cut into the mechanism outlines.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag and whether they suit the orange palette.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who care about the overall colour more than about perfect edges.
• Buyers looking for a grade where the X-ray idea still reads clearly.
• A practical everyday option for regular play.
