Souvenir AWP | Atheris (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

AWP | Atheris pairs a green and blue viper with a black base, and in Battle-Scarred that pairing is heavily eroded. Large areas of the body show bare metal, the neon rings are chipped, and the snake survives mostly as fragments of colour on the receiver and stock. It suits those who like a rough look or want the design at the lowest entry point.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and stock carry the main artwork: a bush viper with glowing green and teal scales coils along the side of the receiver with its head turned towards the barrel, and its body continues across the stock over a dark blue-black base. The barrel is mostly plain dark grey-green and ends in a muzzle brake with blue trim and a neon green ring at the tip.

Bare metal covers large parts of the receiver, the stock edges, the muzzle brake and the scope. The neon rings are heavily chipped, and the viper on the receiver is reduced to scattered green and blue fragments. Only the central areas of the stock keep noticeable colour, so in game the rifle reads as dark and battered with traces of the snake.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in green, teal, blue or black, especially holo and foil versions, match the viper and the neon accents. Placing them on the barrel side or near the rear of the stock keeps the snake's head on the receiver visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since copies near the cleaner end look noticeably better.
• Inspect the viper on the side of the receiver, as its scale detail is what suffers once wear spreads beyond the edges.
• Look at the muzzle tip and the scope rings, because the neon green accents there are the first to show marks.
• Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they cover the snake's head.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

• Players looking for the lowest entry point into this skin.
• Fans of a rough, battered style where fragments of the snake show through bare metal.
• A choice for those who accept heavy wear for the sake of the design.
