Skin overview

AWP | Exothermic covers the rifle in a red burst pattern of darker streaks fanning out over a bright red base, against a plain dark barrel. In Factory New the red paint is unbroken on the stock, receiver and scope, and the fine lines of the burst stay sharp. This is the cleanest version of the design.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Factory New

The stock, grip area, receiver and handguard are painted bright red with a hydrographic burst pattern of darker red streaks that fan out in different directions. The scope tube and its mounts carry the same red pattern, while the barrel, muzzle brake and bipod stay in dark grey metal.

The red paint is intact over the stock, receiver, handguard and scope. The thin dark streaks of the burst pattern keep crisp edges against the brighter base. In game the rifle shows an even, saturated red with no grey showing through.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Red, black and gold stickers fit the burst pattern without clashing with it. Darker stickers placed along the flat side of the stock stand out well against the busy red texture, while bright colours away from red can look out of place.
