Souvenir AWP | Exothermic (Well-Worn)

Skin overview

This AWP carries a red burst finish over the body and scope, with the barrel left in dark metal. At Well-Worn the paint is visibly rubbed through on the stock edges, scope and front of the body, so the rifle looks used rather than fresh. The red colour is still clearly readable at a glance.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The stock, grip area, receiver and handguard are painted bright red with a hydrographic burst pattern of darker red streaks that fan out in different directions. The scope tube and its mounts carry the same red pattern, while the barrel, muzzle brake and bipod stay in dark grey metal.

The scope loses a noticeable share of its paint, and the stock edges and handguard show wider worn areas. Scratches cut through the burst pattern on the receiver as well. The broad flat sides of the stock still hold most of the red, which keeps the colour readable in game.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Exothermic is 0–0.7; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Harlequin Collection with 19 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, black and gold stickers fit the burst pattern without clashing with it. Darker stickers placed along the flat side of the stock stand out well against the busy red texture, while bright colours away from red can look out of place.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in the middle grades keeps much more red on the scope.
• Look at the scope and stock edges in the inspect view, as these parts lose paint first.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, because they change how the red body reads.
• Compare a few copies side by side, since the hydrographic pattern sits slightly differently on each one.
