Skin overview

Hyper Beast is a bright custom paint job, and Battle-Scarred shows how it ages: large areas of the stock lose paint, especially along edges and the lower part, while the colours that remain look patchy. From a distance the pink and green still mark the rifle as this skin. Some buyers prefer this rough, used look to a clean finish.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The stock carries most of the artwork: a dense composition of the beast in neon pink, magenta, red, orange, green and teal, with eyes and teeth worked into the curves. The receiver continues the motif in darker grey-blue tones, showing a creature face just ahead of the stock.

Large areas of the stock are worn through, especially along the edges and the lower part, and the remaining colours look patchy. The receiver artwork is heavily rubbed and the creature face is hard to make out. In game the rifle reads as a worn version of the design, recognisable mainly by the pink and green patches. Some colour usually survives in the middle of the stock.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in Field-Tested looks much closer to Minimal Wear than a high one.
• Inspect the stock edges, the butt and the lower curve of the stock, as these parts lose paint first.
