Skin overview

This AWP carries a neon creature in pink, magenta, green and teal over a dark grey base. In Well-Worn the paint is visibly rubbed through on the stock edges and the butt, and the receiver artwork loses some sharpness. The overall colour scheme is still unmistakable, which makes this grade a cheaper way to carry the design.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The stock carries most of the artwork: a dense composition of the beast in neon pink, magenta, red, orange, green and teal, with eyes and teeth worked into the curves. The receiver continues the motif in darker grey-blue tones, showing a creature face just ahead of the stock.

Paint loss covers more of the stock edges and the butt, and patches of wear spread into the artwork itself. The creature on the receiver becomes blurred, and the slate-blue fittings show scratches. In game the colour scheme is clear, but finer details of the beast are lost. Only the middle of the stock still looks relatively complete.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Hyper Beast is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Falchion Collection with 16 skins in total.

The source is Falchion Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Holographic and foil stickers in pink, magenta, green or teal match the neon palette of the stock. Placing them on the dark receiver or barrel keeps the artwork visible, while black or dark grey stickers give a quieter contrast.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in Field-Tested looks much closer to Minimal Wear than a high one.
  • Inspect the stock edges, the butt and the lower curve of the stock, as these parts lose paint first.
  • Look at the creature face on the receiver to see how much detail is left on worn copies.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, and decide whether they add to the look or hide the artwork.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who want the design and accept visible wear.
  • Players who care more about the colour scheme than fine detail.
  • An affordable way to get the skin.
