Skin overview

This is the muted, military-looking AWP, with no bright accents, just tan and brown snakeskin patches over the body, scope and stock. At Minimal Wear the finish looks practically intact at normal viewing distance, and any marks are limited to a few tiny chips on edges. It offers almost the same picture as Factory New with a slightly wider choice of copies.

Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver, scope body and thumbhole stock are painted in a sand-tan base with irregular darker brown patches, each outlined by a freehand line and filled with a fine snakeskin scale texture. The long barrel, muzzle brake, scope rings and bipod stay in dark unpainted metal, which frames the camo and keeps the rifle looking utilitarian.

Small chips may appear on the scope edges and the top edge of the receiver. The patches, outlines and scale texture remain fully intact. At normal distance in game the rifle looks clean. The stock and thumbhole area usually still look untouched.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Snake Camo is 0.06–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Dust Collection with 9 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Earthy browns, sand, olive and matte gold stickers blend with the tan snakeskin camo for a cohesive military look. A single dark or black sticker on the receiver side stands out well against the light base, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the muted palette.
