Skin overview

The skin pairs a plain blue body with a hexagon-patterned slide, so most of its character sits on the top line of the pistol. In Field-Tested the edges of the slide, magazine and grip start to show scuffs, while the red hexagons remain readable. It is a practical middle choice for everyday play.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, frame, trigger guard and grip are painted in a flat steel-blue with a slightly dusty tone. The slide carries the hexagon hydrographic: red outlined cells on the upper surface mixed with darker blue hexagons along the sides.

Scratches show along the slide edges, around the muzzle and on the base and sides of the magazine. Some hexagon outlines on the slide lose a little colour where the edges are rubbed. In game the wear reads as light scuffing rather than damage. The flat surfaces of the frame and grip stay mostly blue.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Hexane ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 57% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Hexane belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from eSports 2014 Summer Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red or red-and-black stickers echo the hexagon lines on the slide, while dark blue, grey or holographic silver stickers blend with the plain body. The flat side of the frame and the long magazine give room for a row of stickers without covering the pattern.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the cleaner end of a grade show fewer scuffs on the slide edges.
  • Look at the top of the slide, because the red hexagons there carry most of the skin's look.
  • Inspect the magazine base and muzzle, which wear first on this finish.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied, as they change the look and value of the copy.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the hexagon slide for regular matches.
  • Buyers who are fine with light scuffs on edges.
  • Conclusion: a balanced everyday option.
