Skin overview
Hexane is the most worn this CZ75-Auto finish gets, since the skin does not drop into Battle-Scarred. In Well-Worn the blue coat is scratched through on edges and the slide, giving the pistol a used, metal-showing look while the honeycomb is still recognisable. It suits a buyer who likes a weathered tool look or wants the cheapest entry.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The receiver, frame, trigger guard and grip are painted in a flat steel-blue with a slightly dusty tone. The slide carries the hexagon hydrographic: red outlined cells on the upper surface mixed with darker blue hexagons along the sides.
Bare metal is clearly visible on the slide edges, the muzzle, the magazine base and the rear of the grip. The red hexagons on the slide are patchy in places but the pattern is still recognisable. In game the pistol looks noticeably used, with grey spots breaking up the blue. The centres of the grip panels and frame keep most of their colour.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.4
The float of Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Hexane ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.4 — 5% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Hexane belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, which holds 17 skins.
The source is eSports 2014 Summer Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red or red-and-black stickers echo the hexagon lines on the slide, while dark blue, grey or holographic silver stickers blend with the plain body. The flat side of the frame and the long magazine give room for a row of stickers without covering the pattern.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the cleaner end of a grade show fewer scuffs on the slide edges.
- Look at the top of the slide, because the red hexagons there carry most of the skin's look.
- Inspect the magazine base and muzzle, which wear first on this finish.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied, as they change the look and value of the copy.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget buyers looking for the most affordable entry to this skin.
- Players who like a used, metal-showing tool look.
- Conclusion: the most worn version available, still recognisable.
