Skin overview

Red Astor is recognisable by its red slide, barrel and long magazine set against black grip panels and a steel frame. In Field-Tested the red begins to give way to bare metal on the edges of the slide, the muzzle and the magazine, which adds a used, handled character. The overall red-and-white scheme still reads clearly at normal distance.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide, the extended barrel and the long magazine are painted in a deep, glossy metallic red. Light grey and white bands run diagonally along the slide, giving it a fast, striped profile.

Visible chips of bare metal appear along the slide edges, the muzzle and the front edge of the magazine. The white bands start to show scuffs where they meet the edges. The middle of the slide and the magazine faces keep most of their red. In game the wear is noticeable on close inspection, while the overall colour scheme stays intact.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Red Astor ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir CZ75-Auto | Red Astor belongs to The Chroma 3 Collection, which holds 17 skins.

It drops from Chroma 3 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

White, silver and black stickers continue the slide accents without fighting the red. Red or gold holo stickers placed on the slide or the frame give a tonal, unified craft. Strongly saturated greens or blues will stand out against the red and suit only a deliberate contrast.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the edges of the slide and magazine show the difference first.
  • Look at the muzzle, the magazine base and the front edge of the magazine on inspect, as these lose paint earliest.
  • Check whether the white bands on the slide are still clean or already scuffed.
  • Review any applied stickers and name tag so they match the red-and-white scheme you want.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the full red-and-white scheme for everyday matches.
  • Buyers who like light edge wear that gives the pistol a handled look.
  • A practical grade for regular play.
