Skin overview
Bronze Deco is recognisable by its dark slide crossed with bronze and gold geometric bands on a fine textured background. In Field-Tested the metallic layer starts to rub off at the muzzle and the front edges of the slide, while the main bronze shapes remain clearly visible. It is the middle option that keeps the art deco look readable without paying for a spotless finish.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The slide is painted dark graphite with a fine textured surface, crossed by bronze and gold bands that form angular art deco shapes along its length. The muzzle end carries a lighter silver-grey patch with a speckled texture, and the frame and trigger area pick up the same bronze tone.
Wear becomes noticeable at the muzzle, along the top and front edges of the slide and on the corners of the grip. The bronze bands start to lose some shine at these spots, while their main shapes on the slide remain intact. At normal distance the pattern still reads clearly as bronze on graphite. The centre of the slide and most of the grip stay clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Bronze Deco is 0–0.46; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (50% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Desert Eagle | Bronze Deco belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which holds 15 skins.
It drops from Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).
What it costs in each quality
By price this skin is 2nd of 11 skins Mil-Spec Grade Desert Eagle in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, bronze and black stickers match the art deco palette and blend into the dark slide. Holo or foil stickers in warm metallic tones work well on the flat part of the slide, while bright cold colours tend to clash with the bronze bands.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low-float copies of a grade keep the muzzle and slide edges cleaner.
- Inspect the muzzle and the front edges of the slide, as these are the first places where the bronze paint rubs off.
- Look at the grip edges on worn copies to see how much of the bronze striping is left.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, and whether their colours fit the bronze and graphite scheme.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who use the Desert Eagle often and want the art deco look at a moderate cost.
- Buyers who do not mind light rubbing at the muzzle and slide edges.
- A balanced middle grade where the pattern still reads clearly.
