Skin overview
The skin pairs a dark textured base with warm metallic bronze stripes that run diagonally across the slide and grip. Minimal Wear keeps that contrast almost untouched: any marks are tiny and sit on the very edges of the slide. In the hand it reads practically the same as the cleanest grade.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The slide is painted dark graphite with a fine textured surface, crossed by bronze and gold bands that form angular art deco shapes along its length. The muzzle end carries a lighter silver-grey patch with a speckled texture, and the frame and trigger area pick up the same bronze tone.
Light scuffs may appear on the front edge of the slide and around the muzzle. They are small and mostly visible only when inspecting the weapon up close. The bronze bands on the slide and grip stay fully saturated. In game it looks almost identical to Factory New.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Bronze Deco is 0–0.46; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (17% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Desert Eagle | Bronze Deco belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which holds 15 skins.
The source is Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).
What it costs in each quality
Among 11 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 5th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, bronze and black stickers match the art deco palette and blend into the dark slide. Holo or foil stickers in warm metallic tones work well on the flat part of the slide, while bright cold colours tend to clash with the bronze bands.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since low-float copies of a grade keep the muzzle and slide edges cleaner.
- Inspect the muzzle and the front edges of the slide, as these are the first places where the bronze paint rubs off.
- Look at the grip edges on worn copies to see how much of the bronze striping is left.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, and whether their colours fit the bronze and graphite scheme.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-clean look and are happy to save compared with Factory New.
- Sticker crafters for whom tiny marks on the slide edges do not matter.
- A sensible choice that looks almost identical to the top grade in game.
