Skin overview

A Well-Worn Firebreathing reads as a lavender pistol with faded, patchy flames. The pearl shine is dulled, and bare metal covers more of the slide, edges and grip corners. The purple and blue tones still identify the skin, but it looks like a gun that has seen long use.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The base of the whole pistol is a pale lavender pearlescent coat with purple, pink and light blue flame shapes running along the slide and frame. On the slide and barrel the flames stretch toward the muzzle, which is painted bright violet, while greyish mauve areas give the pattern depth.

Bare metal spreads across most of the top of the slide and the muzzle area, and the flame outlines there become broken. The grip corners and frame edges are scuffed, and the colours look faded overall. The lower flanks and the centre of the grip keep the most paint. In game the pistol still reads as purple, but the worn look is obvious.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Firebreathing ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Holo stickers in purple, pink, light blue or silver tones match the pearlescent flames best. A single sticker on the slide flank keeps the flame lines readable, while dark or warm-coloured stickers stand out against the lavender base.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low value keeps more pearlescent paint on the top of the slide.
  • Look at the muzzle face and slide edges in the inspect view, as these are the first parts to lose colour.
  • On Field-Tested and worse copies, compare how much of the flame pattern is left on the slide flanks and grip.
  • Check applied stickers and name tags, because they change how the clean lavender surface looks.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who want the recognisable colour scheme.
  • Players who prefer a used, faded look over a clean one.
  • An inexpensive way to carry this skin with clear signs of wear.
