Skin overview
Mint Fan pairs cool mint shapes with warm brown, so the Desert Eagle reads as a two-tone patterned gun from any angle. In Field-Tested the fans remain clearly visible across the slide and frame, while the edges begin to show scuffs. Because the pattern is so dense, small scratches blend into it more than they would on a plain finish.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The slide, frame and barrel are covered in a halftone pattern of overlapping fan shapes in mint teal and pale tan, separated by a dark brown base that also fills the gaps between the fans. The barrel section seen through the ejection port and the top of the slide stay solid brown, while the hammer, slide stop and backstrap pick up a lighter mint tone.
Wear spreads along the slide edges, the rails and the front of the barrel, and the hammer and trigger guard start to lose their light colour. The fans on the flat sides of the slide and frame remain readable. In game the gun still looks patterned and colourful, with scratches showing mainly when inspected up close.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Mint Fan ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 38% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
By price this skin is 5th of 11 skins Mil-Spec Grade Desert Eagle in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in teal, mint, cream or brown tones blend with the fan pattern, while gold or copper accents work well against the brown base. Placing stickers on the rear of the slide keeps the most visible part of the pattern open.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within its wear range, since copies near the upper end of a grade show more rubbing on the slide front.
- Look at the muzzle, slide edges and hammer on the inspect screen, as these parts lose colour first.
- Souvenir versions exist, so check whether the copy carries souvenir stickers and whether they suit you.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag, because they stay with the item.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the full colour scheme for everyday use.
- Buyers who accept edge scuffs that the dense pattern partly hides.
- Conclusion: a balanced middle option for play.
