Skin overview
Mint Fan is a busy pattern of teal and brown fans that gives the pistol a muted, textile-like look. Battle-Scarred is the cheapest way to get it: the edges, muzzle and raised parts are heavily rubbed and patches of the pattern are broken up. The teal tone still carries the look at normal distance, which suits a buyer who mainly wants the colours.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The slide, frame and barrel are covered in a halftone pattern of overlapping fan shapes in mint teal and pale tan, separated by a dark brown base that also fills the gaps between the fans. The barrel section seen through the ejection port and the top of the slide stay solid brown, while the hammer, slide stop and backstrap pick up a lighter mint tone.
The muzzle, slide edges, rails and raised parts are heavily worn, and the fan pattern is broken up into patches toward the front of the gun. The hammer, slide stop and trigger guard have lost much of their light tone. In game the gun reads as a worn teal and brown pistol, while the rear of the slide and the grip keep the most colour.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6
The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | Mint Fan ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.6 — 25% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Ascent Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 6 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in teal, mint, cream or brown tones blend with the fan pattern, while gold or copper accents work well against the brown base. Placing stickers on the rear of the slide keeps the most visible part of the pattern open.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within its wear range, since copies near the upper end of a grade show more rubbing on the slide front.
- Look at the muzzle, slide edges and hammer on the inspect screen, as these parts lose colour first.
- Souvenir versions exist, so check whether the copy carries souvenir stickers and whether they suit you.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag, because they stay with the item.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for players who want the colours on the Desert Eagle.
- Fans of a heavily worn look on a patterned finish.
- Conclusion: the lowest-cost way to own the skin.
