Skin overview

This is the grayscale comic-page Desert Eagle in its most worn form, with halftone print and ink strokes broken up by heavy scratches. In Battle-Scarred the bare surface shows through along the top of the slide, the muzzle and the grip, which suits the old-newspaper theme for some buyers. It is the cheapest way to own the design.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The whole pistol is wrapped in an off-white base printed with gray halftone dots and long diagonal strokes, imitating an inked comic panel. The slide carries the largest streaks, running back from the muzzle toward the rear sight, with dot-screen shading along its upper edge.

Heavy wear covers the slide top, muzzle, rail and trigger guard, with bare surface showing through in wide areas. The grip has lost much of its halftone texture at the front and edges. In game the pistol reads as a scratched gray weapon with traces of the comic print. Only the flat middle of the slide and frame keep larger fragments of the pattern.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.58

The float of Souvenir Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle ranges from 0 to 0.58; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.58 — 22% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle belongs to The Achroma Collection, which holds 20 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white and gray stickers keep the monochrome comic look, while one bright red or yellow sticker works as a single colour accent like a highlighted panel. Placing stickers on the slide side keeps the large ink strokes of the grip visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show fewer dark patches on the slide edges.
  • Look at the muzzle and the top of the slide in the inspect view, as these lose the print first.
  • Examine the front of the grip, where the halftone bands break up on more worn copies.
  • For Souvenir copies, check that the applied stickers fit the grayscale artwork you want.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget buyers looking for the lowest entry into this design.
  • Players who like a scratched, old-newspaper feel on the pistol.
  • Conclusion: the cheapest way to own the skin, at the cost of a heavily worn print.
