Skin overview
This Desert Eagle carries a gray, comic-inspired print where dot screens and ink lines replace any colour. In Field-Tested the pale base shows the first scuffs along the slide edges, but the graphic-novel style is still obvious at a glance. It is the middle ground between a clean look and a lower cost.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The whole pistol is wrapped in an off-white base printed with gray halftone dots and long diagonal strokes, imitating an inked comic panel. The slide carries the largest streaks, running back from the muzzle toward the rear sight, with dot-screen shading along its upper edge.
Wear becomes visible as small darker patches on the muzzle, slide edges and trigger guard. The front of the grip starts to lose some of the halftone bands. In game the comic print is still clearly recognisable, with a slightly used look up close. The flat sides of the slide and frame remain mostly intact.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle is 0–0.58; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (40% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle belongs to The Achroma Collection, which holds 20 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
By price this skin is 6th of 11 skins Mil-Spec Grade Desert Eagle in this quality (the first being the dearest).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Black, white and gray stickers keep the monochrome comic look, while one bright red or yellow sticker works as a single colour accent like a highlighted panel. Placing stickers on the slide side keeps the large ink strokes of the grip visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show fewer dark patches on the slide edges.
- Look at the muzzle and the top of the slide in the inspect view, as these lose the print first.
- Examine the front of the grip, where the halftone bands break up on more worn copies.
- For Souvenir copies, check that the applied stickers fit the grayscale artwork you want.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the recognisable comic style for everyday matches.
- Buyers comfortable with light scuffs on the slide edges.
- Conclusion: a balanced pick between appearance and budget.
