Skin overview

The Daily Deagle is a monochrome hydrographic finish of halftone shading and long gray strokes that wrap the slide, frame and grip. In Minimal Wear the comic-print look is fully intact, and any marks are small enough to blend into the busy dot pattern. It keeps the clean newsprint feel at a lower grade.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole pistol is wrapped in an off-white base printed with gray halftone dots and long diagonal strokes, imitating an inked comic panel. The slide carries the largest streaks, running back from the muzzle toward the rear sight, with dot-screen shading along its upper edge.

Tiny scuffs may appear at the muzzle and along the top edge of the slide. They are hard to separate from the gray dot pattern itself. At normal distance in game the pistol looks practically identical to a Factory New copy. The grip, frame and sides of the slide stay fully clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle is 0–0.58; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (14% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Desert Eagle | The Daily Deagle belongs to The Achroma Collection, which holds 20 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 11 skins of the Desert Eagle in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 4th by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white and gray stickers keep the monochrome comic look, while one bright red or yellow sticker works as a single colour accent like a highlighted panel. Placing stickers on the slide side keeps the large ink strokes of the grip visible.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show fewer dark patches on the slide edges.
  • Look at the muzzle and the top of the slide in the inspect view, as these lose the print first.
  • Examine the front of the grip, where the halftone bands break up on more worn copies.
  • For Souvenir copies, check that the applied stickers fit the grayscale artwork you want.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-flawless look while paying less than for Factory New.
  • Buyers who know the busy dot pattern hides small marks well.
  • Conclusion: a sensible grade for a clean look at a lower cost.
