Skin overview

BorDeux is recognisable by the contrast between dark grey metal and plum grips. In Field-Tested the metal starts to show lighter worn spots along the edges, which suits the gunmetal look, while the grips keep their colour. The overall impression stays tidy and practical.

Item type: pistol. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Field-Tested

Both pistols are finished in gunmetal grey across the slides, barrels and frames, with a slightly textured metallic surface. The grips are painted plum purple and show a fine wood-grain pattern with the screws left in dark metal.

Lighter worn patches spread along the slide edges, the muzzles and the front of the frames. The trigger guards may show first light scratches. The plum grips keep their colour, with only slight rubbing at the outer edges. In game the pistols read as lightly used grey metal with intact purple grips.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Dual Berettas | BorDeux is 0–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (29% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

By price this skin is 3rd of 7 skins Consumer Grade Dual Berettas in this quality (the first being the dearest).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in purple, burgundy, silver or black match the plum grips and grey metal without breaking the restrained scheme. Placements on the slides work best, since the grey surface gives the stickers a calm background.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the cleaner end of a grade show fewer scuffs on the slide edges.
  • Look at the slide edges and muzzles first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the finish.
  • Inspect the outer edges of the plum grips on worn copies to see how much purple is left.
  • Check for applied stickers or a name tag, since they change the look and the value of a particular copy.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want a tidy Dual Berettas skin for everyday matches.
  • Buyers who like light edge wear on gunmetal grey.
  • A practical middle option for regular play.
