Skin overview

The skin pairs plain gunmetal grey pistols with purple grips that carry a wood-grain pattern, and that simple scheme hides small flaws well. In Minimal Wear any marks stay small and sit on the slide edges, so at normal viewing distance the pistols look practically new. It suits a buyer who wants a clean look without chasing the top grade.

Item type: pistol. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

Both pistols are finished in gunmetal grey across the slides, barrels and frames, with a slightly textured metallic surface. The grips are painted plum purple and show a fine wood-grain pattern with the screws left in dark metal.

Fine scuffs can appear on the slide edges and near the muzzles. Because the metal is already grey, these marks blend in and are hard to spot in game. The frames, trigger guards and grips still look untouched. The difference from Factory New shows mostly on close inspection.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Dual Berettas | BorDeux is 0–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Radiant Collection with 28 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

What it costs in each quality

Among 8 skins of the Dual Berettas in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 2nd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in purple, burgundy, silver or black match the plum grips and grey metal without breaking the restrained scheme. Placements on the slides work best, since the grey surface gives the stickers a calm background.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the cleaner end of a grade show fewer scuffs on the slide edges.
  • Look at the slide edges and muzzles first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the finish.
  • Inspect the outer edges of the plum grips on worn copies to see how much purple is left.
  • Check for applied stickers or a name tag, since they change the look and the value of a particular copy.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want an almost new look without paying for the top grade.
  • Sticker crafters, since small scuffs on grey metal are barely visible.
  • A sensible balance of clean look and cost.
