Skin overview

Battle-Scarred turns Cartel into a heavily worn set of pistols, with dulled steel, darkened bronze and scuffed grips. The engraving survives as texture rather than sharp detail, giving the weapons a rough, battered look. It is the cheapest way into the skin and fits players who prefer a gritty style.

Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Patina: an aged metal surface; wear is part of the design, so the gap between qualities is less visible.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slides and barrels are finished in light polished steel, while the frames are covered in bronze-toned metal with dense ornamental engraving and a fine checkered texture at the front. The grips are a pale bone or ivory colour with a round engraved medallion in the centre.

The steel is heavily dulled and scratched along the whole slide, and the muzzles and edges look the most worn. The bronze frames are dark and the engraving survives mostly as texture. The grips are clearly darkened and scuffed. In game the pistols read as rough and aged, though the basic colour layout and the shape of the medallions can still be made out.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir Dual Berettas | Cartel ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Wildfire Collection with 16 skins in total.

It drops from Operation Wildfire Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, bronze and brown stickers blend with the engraved frames, while black or cream tones sit well against the steel and pale grips. Ornate or vintage-style designs match the engraved theme better than bright neon ones. Placing stickers on the plain steel slides keeps the engraved frames visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since the slide edges and muzzles change noticeably between low and high floats of the same grade.
  • Check the inspect view for how much the bronze engraving has darkened, as this defines the character of the skin.
  • Look at the grips, because their pale colour shows darkening clearly on more worn copies.
  • Check any applied stickers and name tag, since they change the overall look of the ornate finish.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Budget players looking for the most affordable entry into the skin.
  • Fans of a rough, battered style on their pistols.
  • Conclusion: the entry point for those who value the theme over clean detail.
