Skin overview

FAMAS | Neural Net is a Restricted rifle finish that covers the body in translucent yellow over a metallic base. Angular grey and black shards form a broken, net-like pattern. In Factory New the yellow is even and saturated, the shard edges are sharp, and the metallic sheen under the paint shows only as a soft glow.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver, carry handle and stock are coated in translucent yellow over a metallic base, scattered with angular grey, olive and black shards that create a fractured, net-like pattern. The carry handle shows larger grey patches, while the stock is densely covered with dark fragments.

The yellow coat is complete on every part, with no metal showing through. The shard edges are crisp and the contrast between yellow and dark fragments is at its strongest. In game the rifle reads as a bright, clean yellow gun with a sharp pattern. The handle, stock and muzzle are all untouched.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir FAMAS | Neural Net is 0–0.6; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, dark grey and gold stickers sit naturally on the yellow body and echo the shard pattern. Placements on the receiver side under the carry handle and on the stock read best against the yellow coat. Strong reds or pinks tend to clash with the yellow-and-grey scheme.

• Look at the float position within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end keep noticeably more yellow on the carry handle and stock.
• Inspect the top of the carry handle and the muzzle, as these are the first areas where the metal base shows through.
• Check the pattern placement on the receiver and stock, because the shard layout shifts between copies and some show more dark fragments than others.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag and decide whether they fit your plans for the rifle.
