Souvenir Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Boost Protocol gives the Five-SeveN a mecha-style look with red chevrons on the rear slide, the BOOST lettering up front and a robot icon on the frame. In Field-Tested the white frame starts to show grey scuffs and the dark slide loses some of its clean edges. From normal distance the red-white-black scheme still reads clearly.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The slide is dark grey and black, with red BOOST lettering near the muzzle, a red front sight and thin grey line graphics along its length. Toward the rear the slide turns into a red-to-pink gradient crossed by angular black chevrons.

Grey scuffs spread over the white frame, especially along the dust cover and the front of the grip. The slide edges and the area around the sights show worn spots, and the red gradient loses some of its sharpness. At normal distance the colour scheme still reads well. The BOOST lettering and the chevrons remain legible.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol is 0–0.41; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (56% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Operation Riptide Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Operation Riptide Case.

What it costs in each quality

Among 5 skins of the Five-SeveN in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Red, white and black stickers continue the existing scheme and suit the white frame well. Holo or foil stickers in red or silver match the mecha theme without breaking the contrast.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the white frame first, since it shows scuffs before any other part.
• Check the slide edges and the muzzle area for rubbed spots on Minimal Wear and Field-Tested copies.
• Compare the float within the grade, as low-float Field-Tested copies stay much cleaner than high ones.
• Check applied stickers and the name tag, and whether a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version fits your goal.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• CT-side players who want the recognisable red-white scheme for everyday matches.
• Buyers who pick a low-float copy to get a cleaner frame for less.
• A solid option for play where the colours still read well.
