Show allAllSkin overview
This Five-SeveN skin is built on contrast: a black-and-grey slide with red graphics against a pale frame marked with thin red lines. At Minimal Wear the scheme looks almost untouched, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges of the slide. It gives nearly the same look as the cleanest grade with a little more room in choice.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The slide is dark grey and black, with red BOOST lettering near the muzzle, a red front sight and thin grey line graphics along its length. Toward the rear the slide turns into a red-to-pink gradient crossed by angular black chevrons.
Light marks may appear on the slide edges and the muzzle, mostly visible only on close inspection. The white frame remains bright, perhaps with tiny specks near the front. In game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The red graphics and the robot icon stay complete.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Boost Protocol is 0–0.41; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (20% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Operation Riptide Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Operation Riptide Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Red, white and black stickers continue the existing scheme and suit the white frame well. Holo or foil stickers in red or silver match the mecha theme without breaking the contrast.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at the white frame first, since it shows scuffs before any other part.
- Check the slide edges and the muzzle area for rubbed spots on Minimal Wear and Field-Tested copies.
- Compare the float within the grade, as low-float Field-Tested copies stay much cleaner than high ones.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, and whether a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version fits your goal.
Who should buy Minimal Wear
- Players who want a nearly clean look without paying for the top grade.
- Owners who rarely inspect the pistol up close.
- A practical middle ground between cleanliness and cost.
