Souvenir Five-SeveN | Flame Test (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

Five-SeveN | Flame Test keeps its idea simple: a purple slide with a flame near the muzzle over a grey frame. In Battle-Scarred the slide is heavily rubbed at the edges and front, the flame loses definition and bare metal shows through, giving a rough, used look. Since the float range ends before the deepest wear values, even the worst copies keep a visible share of purple.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The finish is concentrated on the slide: a deep purple base with metal flake that darkens towards the muzzle end. On the front part of the slide a stylised flame shape runs back from the muzzle, outlined against the dark base.

Heavy wear covers the slide edges, the top surface and the muzzle area, with bare metal showing through the purple. The flame motif is broken up and only partly recognisable. In game the slide reads as worn purple with grey scratches rather than a clean finish. Lower areas of the slide sides and the grey frame keep the most of their original look.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.65

The whole float range of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Flame Test is 0–0.65; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.65 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Clutch Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Clutch Case.

What it costs in each quality

Among 3 skins of the Five-SeveN in the Mil-Spec Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Silver, holo and violet stickers sit well with the purple flake slide and repeat the silver flame idea. Black or dark purple designs keep the look restrained, while placements on the rear of the slide or the grey frame avoid covering the flame.

What to check before buying

• Look at the front edge of the slide and the muzzle, since wear on this skin starts there.
• Check how clear the flame outline is, because it defines the look more than any other detail.
• Compare float position within the wear grade, as copies near the lower end keep more of the flake sheen.
• Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it carries stickers or a name tag.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

• The cheapest way into the skin for players who just want a purple Five-SeveN.
• Those who prefer a rough, worn finish with bare metal showing.
• An entry option that still keeps visible colour.
