Souvenir Five-SeveN | Flame Test (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Flame Test is a calm Gunsmith finish: purple slide, flame shape at the front, grey frame. In Field-Tested the purple is still the dominant colour and the flame is readable, but the slide edges and muzzle start to show lighter scuffs. It is a practical middle ground for someone who wants the colour on a carry pistol rather than a pristine piece.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The finish is concentrated on the slide: a deep purple base with metal flake that darkens towards the muzzle end. On the front part of the slide a stylised flame shape runs back from the muzzle, outlined against the dark base.

Light scuffs appear along the top edges of the slide and at the muzzle, and the flake sheen becomes less even near the front. The flame is still readable, though its edges soften where the slide is rubbed. In game the pistol reads clearly purple, with wear visible mainly when inspecting. The sides of the slide and the grey lower half stay mostly clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Five-SeveN | Flame Test ranges from 0 to 0.65; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 35% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Silver, holo and violet stickers sit well with the purple flake slide and repeat the silver flame idea. Black or dark purple designs keep the look restrained, while placements on the rear of the slide or the grey frame avoid covering the flame.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the front edge of the slide and the muzzle, since wear on this skin starts there.
• Check how clear the flame outline is, because it defines the look more than any other detail.
• Compare float position within the wear grade, as copies near the lower end keep more of the flake sheen.
• Note whether the copy is StatTrak™ or Souvenir and whether it carries stickers or a name tag.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want the purple slide on their CT pistol and do not inspect it closely.
• Buyers looking for a balance between appearance and cost.
• A practical everyday option.
